As a Content Creator for the Unified Social Media team at Scholastic, I partnered with the internal marketing teams at the company to create engaging social-first content for parents and teachers. This role allowed me to tap into my background as a branding expert as well as lean into and develop my skills in photography, videography, animation and stop motion.

The Education Solutions team at Scholastic work closely with educators and administrators to develop and make accessible a host of invaluable teaching tools for both teachers and parents. I partnered with this team which included Magazine Editors, Literacy Specialists, Marketing Managers, and Academic Advisors to create engaging content to extend their reach to their audiences. For a teacher-centric fund-raising campaign, I created videos using UGC content to create an authentic, relatable connection with our teacher audience.

As both a visual designer and an animator, I created unique campaigns which were designed to have vibrant standout on the social platforms.  Our data team had proven analytics showing that videos and reels with motion consistently outperform static imagery so incorporating simple animated elements was just as important as visually striking graphics. Eye-catching, fun graphic animations enliven the social feed and visually engage with our teachers while delivering vital content to help our educators reach their students in the classroom.
